Open access courses in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan
The Primary Mental Health Support Service offers a range of educational open access courses for adults in the local community. These courses are delivered in co-production between the NHS and local third sector organisations.Even though some of the courses have already started, you can join in at any stage, and make up missed sessions at the next round. Each session is self-contained so there is no need to worry about falling behind.
Because of covid and fire regulations most venues have a limited number of participants, and for this reason we recommend you check any links on the individual course pages as you may be required to register in advance. We would always recommend arriving in good time to courses to secure a place.
The staff work closely with other services within your community that might be of benefit to you. In some circumstances, you will be able to meet with a member of staff in person, for a more in-depth discussion that considers practical problem solving.
Please note that although you can come to either course they do take different approaches, for this reason we recommend that you do not attend ACT-ion for Living and Stress Control at the same time.
