Therapeutic groups in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan

We are pleased to be offering a number of more intensive therapeutic groups, in a small group setting.  
To access these groups, please ensure a referral is made to the Primary Mental Health Support Service for assessment via the usual routes from your GP or Community Mental Health Team in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. Our groups are for 18+. Please refer to the Children and Young People services for younger people.
We run the following regular courses:

Living Life to the Full (CBT) for those with anxiety or depression
Anger Awareness
Other groups not offered by the PMHSS are available, your clinician may discuss these with you.

If you feel that one of these courses could be beneficial, please ensure you are referred to the PMHSS, so that an assessment can be undertaken to see if you meet the criteria for each group.  

If your GP is not based in Cardiff or The Vale of Glamorgan and you are interested in accessing a therapeutic group you should be able to access this through your local Health Board such as:
