Domestic Violence

Domestic violence is a pattern of behaviour which involves violence or other abuse by one person against another in a domestic setting, such as in marriage or cohabitation.

Cardiff Women's Aid helps women in crisis or experiencing domestic abuse through education, advocacy and healing

 Safer Wales has been working for the last 20 years with victims of domestic violence, rape, sexual abuse, exploitation and hate crime

BAWSO provides specialist services to victims and BME people affected or at risk of Domestic Abuse and all forms of violence.

Childline is there to help anyone under 19 in the UK with any issue they’re going through. Whether it’s something big or small, their trained counsellors are there to support you

Refuge supports more than 4,600 women, children and men on any given day through a range of services, including refuges, independent advocacy, community outreach and culturally specific services.

Rape Crisis is a national charity and the umbrella body for a network of independent member Rape Crisis Centres

 

The Safer Wales Dyn Project provides support to Heterosexual, Gay, Bisexual and Trans men who are experiencing Domestic abuse from a partner.

Atal y Fro provides support for women and children within the Vale of Glamorgan who have experienced, or are experiencing Domestic Violence.
